Using CDMA phones as a wifi hot spots
If you use a CDMA smartphone as a wifi hotspot no one can call you when you’re online. To get around this I use Google voice and a second phone. I carry my moto droid as my main phone/smartphone. If the droid is busy google voice rolls the call over to my cheap-o nokia phone.
It’s also nice to carry a 2nd phone whose battery lasts about a week.
